Maura Kenny, Art Professor and artist, has taught drawing and painting courses at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina for over 30 years.
Originally from Connecticut, Maura graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with an Art Education degree and was an art educator in the Public School System of Vernon, Connecticut before moving on to Graduate School. In Graduate School at the University of North Carolina Greensboro she earned an MFA degree in painting. Maura’s paintings have been exhibited in regional, national and international exhibitions and have won many awards.
Maura and her husband Paul have lived in Georgetown County SC for over 30 years where she maintains an active studio in her home.
