Island Art Gallery is pleased to announce an open call for submissions to the 2019 Miniature Masterpiece Show. This event is open to all 2D Artists in NC/SC whose work meets the specifications for hanging. There will be a Gallery Opening for the show on Friday, December 6th, from 5pm-7:30pm. Peoples Choice Award will be announced on Instagram and Facebook Monday, December 9th so make sure to be following us! The show will remain hanging through December 28th, 2019.
Eligibility: Our only specification is that all 2D pieces meet the show size requirement of
10x10" or 12x12" x 1 1/2" gallery wrap canvas or cradle and can be any medium that does not require framing under glass. For hanging purposes, NO hanging hardware please. All pieces will be available for sale $150 or $175 depending on size with a gallery commission of 10%. One submission per artist.
Entry Fee: $20 for non-gallery artists
Please email us at islandartcoop@gmail.com with your name and email if you plan to enter the show----submission fee is due with the piece when delivered or shipped by Saturday, November 30th. Please make sure to have your name, address, phone number and name of your artwork attached to the back of your piece. Gallery hours are 10 am to 5 pm (Monday through Saturday) and someone will be there to accept your artwork.
